The Importance of Water Timing in Bodybuilding Nutrition.

It's interesting to note that the world is 2/3 water
and that water is of extreme importance when it comes to our continued
survival. The evidence of this fact not withstanding, I have conducted
a little research project based on Blair's theory on proper water usage.
Blair believed that water should not be taken with your meals and for good
reason. Too much water taken with meals disrupts proper protein digestion
by interupting the hydrochloric acid in the stomach. The end result being
incomplete digestion of protein which inadvertently contributes to gym
clearing gas as Roach once stated. I believe that water should be
taken approximately 1 hour or so after meals to give the stomach time to
properly break down proteins. The out come from this is more protein utilized
by the human body. Blair suggested that 1/2 cup or less is ok if you feel
the need to do so. So you see now the importance of proper water timing
and by means of which will further propel your bodybuilding and strength
