Operation BCAA

By  Lee Milligan Jr

Knowing the mission put before him, Casey, with much confidence and commitment, moves forward like a Soldier going into battle. Gripping the bar rather tight, his guns locked and loaded for deployment, he grabs hold and with all his might, he lifts upward. He maintains a strong and steady range of motion as if his mind muscle link were guilded by his internal radar. He reaches his target set by means of precise and acurate technique, the mission is complete, another days work is done.

BCAA or Basic Chain Amino Acids are in a sense a Combat Soldier in action. BCAA's mission is to provide countermeasure support to combat the catabolic breakdown that takes place within our Muscles from anaerobic weight training. BCAA comprise about 35 % of our Muscle Tissue. The three BCAA are L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine. They not only prevent Muscle catabolism, but they also promote anabolism which is the primary goal of Weight and Strength trainers. Research indicates that BCAA are used up after exercise more then any other Amino Acid and should be replenished. Further research shows that BCAA supplementation also helps to prevent the suppression of our Immune System from the effects of weight training. The importance of BCAA is of upmost priority when it comes to proper Bodybuilding Nutrition.

So far the best BCAA is from Dave Draper's Website (http://www.davedraper.com ) called Anabol Naturals. Dave sells a pure Pharmaceutical Grade BCAA which is by far the highest grade available. Several factors to consider are 1. You get a better price and 2. Anabol adds Vitamin B6.  Vitamin B6 is included to dramatically enhance absorption and in fact is an absolute must for proper BCAA utilization. Without Vitamin B6 present, the transport of the Branch Chain Amino Acids within the cellular interior is severely inhibited, definitely not something the serious weight training athlete needs.

Please remember to always consult with your Doctor before starting any new supplement and training program.
