Proper utilization of protein is an important factor when it comes to muscle strength and growth. Protein foods that are digested properly will bring about a higher rate of amino acid utilization by the muscles. One method of this is to eat smaller more frequent meals throughout the day.  Studies suggest that the rate of protein synthesis is improved when meals increased from 3 to 5 or more per day. Blair believed that smaller meals increased the efficiency of digestion thus increasing the nurishment value to the human body.   This method also helps to reduce fat accumilation by increasing the body's metabolism. Applying sound nutritional practices will contribute significantly to your bodybuilding and strength training success.
